nice reactions, I had a .012 and a couple in the .025 range, so I was very happy with those. Again, very nice reactions and congrats on putting that SS awayheh, unfortunately they were to the wrong side. Wish I could go out there and consistently cut sub .020 lights.....need practice (and honestly, once the windows go up....that heat will start to get to a guy and screw with R/Ts...I know there was one time imparticular I was a little "lost")! Best light I cut on the right side of things was an .009 (lit the red bulb a bunch unfortunately)....and had some issues with my brakes not holding me at the line (resulting in me coming off the gas trying to reset myself and missing the light...cutting .150 lights)....
That SS "showdown" was fun. I had an overall faster car (by MAYBE 0.100) but Big Daddy Dave's 8 years of experience showed me up at the tree.
Anxious to get back to the track now!
(when is the "Warning: Drag racing is Addictive" sign going up outside of the track?)

heh...missed the word "redlight" there, my bad

Got my best time yet with a 9.58 @ 143. Also layed down a 1.53 60'. Figured out my gearing issues and got the air shifter up and running. Backed up the .58 with a .60, .64, .65, .66, and .69. Can't wait to get it on the dyno and get everything figured out. Might actually spray sometime this year.
Best part was, I spun off the line on the .58 run.
Other than that, I had a blast. 100 entries, 375 spectators. It was MAYHEM! hahahahahaha

No, Mayhem had 9, 10, and 11 second cars. Quick 16 qualifying was looking to be an 11 or better to make the cut off.

Actually, Mayhem had NO cars, cause it didn't happen. Sunday happened because some people can organize an event, while others can't.BTW, there were 10/11 sec cars there, domestics too. They were looking for some fast 4 cyl cars.....they didn't find any.
-
There were fast 4 cyl there that couldn't put the power to the ground because Interstae failed to prep the track. Joey went up and asked the guy about prep and they said yeah we prepped the track yesterday @ noon.
Kinda hard for fwd's to run fast when then have to turn the boost down because they spin the slix threw 3rd gear. Also talked to Dave from SD as well who almost hit the wall in his camaro due to poor prep work. Not much you can say when a car runs consistant 10.8's @ their local track and cant run better than mid/high 11's @ Interstate.
-
I remember the last time I went to interstate they had issues with prepping the track. Is this a common occurance at Sabin or what?

Traction is never perfect on the rental days/nights, but it wasn't as bad as you're making it out to be.and....well you can't expect perfect traction when every other car down the track is running radial tires! I thought we've been over this before somewhere!
Got me looking over my timeslips. cut a few better lights than I expected (atlhough I"m not sure how I managed to cut a .175ish to the wrong side).

Go when the LAST amber light glows dubbsy, the LAST ONE, not the second one...heh...just giving you a bit of crap, I could see me doing that as well.

heh...yeah.... Too many redlights by the looks of it here.
.177, .112, .183, .116, .266 (ouch), .050, .021, .061, .097, .139, .184, .045, .009
and then...
-.034, -.013, -.166 (went on the staging lights?), -.138, -.005, -.006So if I'm racing in the deaf/blind series, I might be able to cut some good reaction times in comparison to my competition.

(so much for being competitive at brackets)
