He is saying that he supports the idea of spreading freedom, not domestically but also foreignly. Foreign affairs are important.. It is good to make friends, since foreign friends also help business which means they help our economy. That's why things like NAFTA and such are important. Helps create free trade within the N. American countries. -- This helps us both import & export goods/services w/o paying extra. It creates a more competitive market which drives down prices... Long story short, if we were to isolate ourselves from the rest of the countries (ally or foe) our nation would fail...

how did international trade agreements become part of this discussion? as far as i could tell, the video was criticizing obama's comment about the war being a mistake (that is not the topic of discussion, so i won't offer my thoughts); thus, in their opinion, belittling the deaths of many soldiers.i got the impression that this video was a political argument, not a critique of economic policies (although it appears the current administration is unable to do well on either front)
