Or more to show that most of you aren't informed and change your stance as soon as info is provided proving you wrong. With all this circular logic, you should be a democrat.Informed? You just informed me of more information I wasn't really aware of on how I don't relate to him. -- I believe the ways of how people are raised effects the decisions they make. If a normal citizen was raised by like let's say the Taliban and came over here, and was qualified with knowledge of running state & govt., and had great ideas that you agreed with.. Would you still vote for him?? You'd worry about some of the ideas/lifestyles he grew up with would effect his decisions and how they don't relate with your own.
I should be a democrat? I'm not Red nor Blue... -- I'm in the middle (Purple)
I don't even really plan to vote.. Since the poll % favor Obama heavily in Minnesota. They both have good ideas/plans. I like how McCain/Palin want more domestic oil.. I think that will be huge for us if we can be more dependent on our own resources versus foreign oil. I think the prices of gas during the summer choked us all out of our extra spending $, and even put some of us in serious debt and tightened up spending. Which led to deliquent accounts, high balance credit cards, and foreclosures. (I am not saying high gas prices has had a direct & major impact on the following issues, but, you can not argue against they had no impact at all..)They both plan to push for alternatives energy -- but neither will have an immediate impact.
Democrats push for another stimilus check (not the republicans) the Republicans did it first.. I think a stimulus check would be better than tax cuts.. I would probably save that $25/30 or so as a cushion so if I hit a hard week I can make it through (and I am sure so will a lot of others) Want to get a burst of spending? Do a stimulus check.. Jump-start the economy, not teaspoon feed it..
And your so Pro-Obama, LOL, I may just go vote McCain just to despite you :icon_geek:

One of the reasons that im not going to vote for Obama is because yea, he's black. Because he is black, and was raised in a black family, i don't believe that he understands MY values, and my views, and where I am coming from. I do not think that he will do a good job of representing ME in the government, and in the world.OMG, you are a fuckin IDIOT.
I don't particularly care for either candidate, but to say shit like that shows that you are a inbred piece of shit. Try living where i do, inner city full of white kids that cause all the problems. It has nothing to do with the color of there skin, it is where they are raised. That is why all the crime where I am at is from young white kids.

Palin -- Abused her powers as governor, redistributes the wealth of the oil revenue within her own state.you gotta stay off those left wing wacko sites Chuck.
What became of the charges that the lefties in Alaska brought against Palin? Oh yeah, they were dropped.
The law in Alaska is that the people own the oil, the $1200 check is for royalties collected from oil companies. It's been the norm in Alaska for years to get royalty checks (well before Palin became governor). There is a huge difference between that and collecting money from one of your citizens and giving it to another (redistributing the wealth).
Thanks for playing tho.

OK, heres the deal. Since your SOOOO interested in why none of us are stupid liberals that are sucking obamas cock, a few reasons.
Taxes, it makes a difference, but in reality theres FAR more important things, i can pay higher taxes for a few years until they are dropped in the next admin
Character, more important than taxes. The person i see is someone who is doing whatever it takes to say what you want to hear. In fact, i dont like obama, he obviously doesnt live the life hes preaching, as his own family live in slums and complete 3rd world poverty while he lives the high life and doesnt do shit to help them. Theres way more stuff to this but im tired so, you get the point.
Freinds and associations, really, some say you judge a man by the company he keeps. He has some fucked up freinds, ayers, wright and his black liberation theology/marxist church, rezco, i could go on. At times, to make a very difficult descision, you have to look to your god/beleifs/wife/etc. and do what you think is right. Those very things on his side scare me.
Life- this is FAR more important than any of the above. I cant beleive how pro-abortion this guy is. Favoring partial birth abortions, denying basic rights and benefits to live born childred of failed abortions, he doesnt even have to balls or personal fortitude to decide for himself when life starts. "Its above my pay grade". Now im not a pro-life nutjob, nor am i pro-abortion. I think it is something that is needed in the most extreme consequences etc. McCain at least has a solid pro-life stance, and doesnt hide it or try to dodge it. "life begins at conception, final answer" and sticks with it. I have much more respect for him as such.
Supreme Court Judges-- More important than ANY OTHER THING IN THE WORLD TO A TRUE AMERICAN. In fact, it can shape every one of the above listed for many years.
Obama doesnt like the constitution. He said it limits the power of the courts to redristribute wealth, and doesnt reflect modern society. He also favors VERY liberal judges, ones that could dramatically change the way the constitution is interpreted. The constitution is more than a piece of paper, it is a set morals, and theologies that is used to support the rights of man and limitations of government. It is not meant to be changed on a whim by judges who see fit as Obama intends. It is to be interpreted in its original meaning and applied to the circumstance. Obama has stated that a justice that strictly interprets it as such is not going to get his pick. He wants justices that "feel" and "care", whom will always choose the weak over the strong even if it contradicts the document. He wants the supreme court to have the power to redristribute wealth, and on and on.Now, honestly i could say so much more than this, but it comes down to the fact you have to look past the rhetoric and see the person inside. I honestly think that barack is going to do drastically worse things than he is saying. When hes not giving a scripted speech his true intentions are far more pronounced. The fact is hes hiding a shitload of stuff on him and his background, we really dont know who he is and its only 3 days till the election.
McCain has a very solid background, doesnt change his views. Hes a stubborn old guy who has his beleifs, which are more appropriate for me, and isnt going to change them for political expediency. Thats a very simple rundown as to why i am voting for mccain. Unlike you chuck, i have looked at the more important things that the next president is going to do, like appoint supreme court justices for life that could change the meaning of america and the constiturion for generations, Instead of a stupid tax plan. Really no one should give a fuck about taxes compared to their core beleifs as i listed above. Get a fucking clue
Gary
