Heading to the Harvey-Rugby area this coming weekend to do a little deer hunting.

I won't be home for a few more weeks but I'll be going to Fort Ransom and Englevale when I go shoot stuff.

I also have a tag for west of highway 38. so i'll be hunting by nome, cuba, and valley city also.

Nope...ended up not going. My parents had 2 feet of snow on the ground that was wet and sticky....I stayed home and worked on the house a bit.

Your right......my bad. Out by the sandhills/grasslands. I got my deer Friday around 2:45. 4x4 with a big body and nice wide rack. I'll head out again on sat. If you wanna head out together let me know. I'll have 2 other peole in my group......maybe

got my doe sunday, first time ive ever had a doe tag, incidentally. 2B.
2 shots to the stomach, one ass graze (didnt ruin anything), one shot to the left front knee. Then 2 in the head to kill it.

Shane and I both got bucks....the area we hunted (again 2B by Hope/Page) was a nightmare. Corn everywhere, we ended up seeing 5 bucks and 1 doe from noon Friday til 4pm Sunday when we gave up. We are going to head out again this Saturday and hope for less corn and less wind (so we can sit somewhere and wait)...
Bucks were average sized, Shane shot a 4x4 with average body, and I shot a 2 x 3 with a bigger body, but nothing to brag about. Both were shot within 10 minutes of each other at 9:30am Saturday, then didn't see a deer afterwards....
