Anyone know anything about hooking up a furnace?

I believe to do it properly though, he would need to have it inspected before he connected power...but yeah, I fully plan to wire my entire basement by myself.

uhhh....it only takes a few mins to inspect it, no big deal there...save money and do it yourself.

its not illegal if its your own house, but it is illegal if you dont pull a permit and have it inspected.

what if you buy a house that was wired by someone other then a certified electrician? are you screwed because you didnt have it rewired? will no insurance company pick you up? oh noes. im glad your not charge of the world.

certified as in inspected? or certified as in work performed by a certified professional....
even if you didnt have a permit pulled or had it inspected your insurance compnay still wouldnt screw you. unless they can prove it was arson. you think people who put their own garbage disposals in are at risk of losing everything because nobody inspected their work? right.
