Like i said before, theres a reason he was benched after the second game.The first two games were not good. Frerotte hasn't deserved to start for awhile(we just were unaware of how Jackson would look, and Chili trying to be a tough ass and not go back on his statement). We have been winning in spite of Frerotte, not BECAUSE of him. Remember, Jackson was the one that saved our asses against that pathetic team that is the Lions. Let me guess, "oh it was just the Lions, what does that prove?". Well I don't know, that Jackson could do what Frerotte could no longer? And now you ride the "hot hand" as he has planned better than Frerotte all year.
And just for the record, I was all for sitting Jackson, maybe not as early as was done, but it WAS the right move.

2003: All we had to do was beat Arizona in week 17 after starting the season 6-0...Nathan Poole td on 4th and forever as time expires...missed the playoffs
2007: All we had to do was beat Washington in week 16....loss...missed the playoffs
2008: We just need 1 win in our last 2 games OR a Chicago loss...week 16=we lose, Chicago wins...BREAK THE DAMN JINX PLEASE
We still own New York though and Chicago sucks on the road.

I hope the Giants rest a lot of their front 4, Tuck Robbins and Coefield specifically, that'd help.
Also Jacobs and likely Hixon aren't playing.
They'll be playing hard, but if we want to get in...we need to bring it also.
It makes me feel better that Houstons at home where theyre 5-2, where as Chicagos 3-4 on the road..and Kyle Orton absolutely sucks.
I think the we'll get in, but with our history...if we blow this, I will not be shocked

Very well put.. Texans are a rather decent team.. But iirc, they have no play off potential...
Giants have a really nice record, so that scares me.
But what are our wild card slot options?

If the Vikes win, we are in as division champs. If we lose and the Bears lose, we are in as division champs. If we lose and the Bears win, I am almost 100% positive that we are out of the playoffs completely no matter what the Cowboys or Bucs do due to tiebreakers.
I honestly think the Vikes will shit stomp NY and the Bears will lose to Houston.

I just remembered hearing Eagles/Cowboys had to do with Bears making the wildcard if they won their last game and so did the Vikings.
Anyways, pretty sweet game.. Nothing like a last second victory...
Nice to see a loss to the bears too, to show that we would of had it either way. Big plus to go into the playsoffs w/ a win.
