Wrong Chris. Clearance is where its at no matter 4wd or AWD.

It's funny how a lot of ppl dont realize this... Like ppl that left the shit out of their trucks than leave small ass tires on there... if u leave the same tires on it, usually the diffs (or whatever else happens to be the lowest thing that can get hung up) will still be the same height...

Small ass tires? you mean diameter right because narrow tires are better in this weather, especially with a heavy vehicle where you can actually get traction. large diameter (high sidewall) tend to get too wide. clearance wont matter if you cant put weight on the ground.

But the rednecks can't afford lifts and tires, so it is one or the other.....

I love that from back home, either tires too big and rub, or lift kits only on stock wheels and tires.

I am pretty impressed with the WRX so far this winter. The snowtires really improved it over the all-seasons that i had on it.

I wish I would have got the 205/60/16 instead of 205/55/16. Taller tire and $20 a tire cheaper.

                    PM me for:
                    Sandblasting(I use glass beads)
                    Diesel repairs or performance products.
