nah the tracer was made by ford, altough it shares the same platform as the mazda protege lx, and the ford escort. ford bought the motors from mazda for the escort gt, escort lx-e, and the tracer lts. the normal escort and tracer came with 1.9 liter ford sohc motors. because as you said they were only partners at the time.

I think the trunk is the optimum place for groceries, if you put them in the back seat it throws your weight distribution all out of whack. thats a ford rs 200 holds the world record for fastest production 0-60. a cosworth is also badass though. and it is almost impossible to get them in the us. shoot rich guys in europe can hardly get their hands on them due to insurance and other stuff
