theres plenty of internships that pay in chicago, LA, New York...friend made 16 k last summer as an intern.

I live in chicago and the cost of living is decent...assuming i live in Chicago. New york, I have a friend who lives there and he's opted to let me stay at his house. LA is the only iffy place . The money is nice, but its more for the networking aspect and "something nice" to put on my resume so when I do graduate, I can have a steady job.
