It was saturday when it was really blowing... I did like 45-50 most of the way, pretty much had to stop when a semi would pass since I couldnt even see the front of my car, let alone the lines on the road... I figured i'd rather be safe, then sticking the car in the ditch...

Record high, last time it got this hot around this time was in 1980.

Except that the ground was pre-soaked before the snow even started falling...I have a feeling the flood this spring will be quite bad...

Funny how we, from 1997-2007, had one 500 year flood (1997) and two 100 year floods (2000, 2006)...And what looks to be another 100+ year flood this year. Crazy.

except that this year's snow so far has had something like a 1:24 snow/water ratio where as 96-97 was 1:10.

and as everyone is saying - it all depends how fast it thaws in the spring.
