where can you even find a house in fargo for $600 a month? unless its a trailerhouse. Or you had $100k to put down on it.i live in a pretty nice trailer house for 670mo, that includes taxes and insurance.

too bad i never said i made $30 an hour, hahaha, and its too bad that you probably have a million dollar operationg loan to pay back just like every other farmer.just about any farmer who is successful does not have to take out an operating loan for the next year, or at least be very close to being able to not have to take one out in the next couple years.

theres quite a few successful farmers around here that i know and they all have operating loans, and i know they're not paying cash for there 260k combines...plus there 3-4 diesel trucks, ect...

you are such a big baller.... but i call BS on 60k a year when you were 18....i doubt you are making that now.Conductor for CP Rail, he was either @ 60k or close is my guess.
Now don't get me wrong, I love a good ridinrails bashing, but he was at least close to right on with this one.

one of the rare moments you'll see John and I agreeing on something.

$38k to $54k/year...I'm assuming even more if you work every shift and don't bump yourself off the boards.

thats really not even accurate anymore becuase with our new union contract we got a 20% wage increase starting last july, and this july we get another 4% increase. But owell, even at 54k a year starting its pretty damn good. Hell even if you were in training the whole year you'd make $34k a year.
And actually chuck....us agreeing isnt so uncommon lately.

you'd be suprised how many farmers pay cash for a 250k combine..
