no, thats like saying your going to go buy a used car and not try to haggle a little bit, you have enough to buy it but wouldnt you like to lower the price any. i wasnt pissing and moaning that the cop gave me a minor. i really want to get my car done this winter so any money i save is nice. i simply asked if i ask to take the breathalizer again if they are supposed to let me or not. its not that big of deal and wasnt supposed to turn into a long thread. just nobody ever answered my question. i know i get a minor no matter what! the problem is people not reading all the posts and skipping around. and yes the judge looks at what you blow! either way your saying all this shit and drinking with people 3 mabye 4 years younger than you.

Give up d00d. If I were to be breathalized right now and fail, there is no point in fighting it. Your underage, you're going to get a minor. I'm willing to bet that everyone here has drank underage, weather they're willing to admit it or not. Everyone that has also understands the consequences that they face if caught. Bottom line is, be respectful of the judge, you cant even begin to understand the power that he commands. With any luck you will not be punished to severely. #1) Your fine will probably be $150, plus another $40 to pay for Comm Service and another $50 to pay for the class they will make you go to...so the total fine will be about $240.
You will get 16 hours of community service, minimum.
You will get 3 days deferred jail, meaning if you screw up again they can (but probably wont) put you in jail for 3 days to try teach you a lesson.#2) The cops LOVE it when you "make them come to court" because they get paid their regular wages + a little extra when they have to go to court. So you aren't sticking it to them when you fight anything.

its always 30 deys deffered. And usually 20 hours cs. If this is your first and it was in nd it will prolly be a little cs and that 220 fine. Maybe an alcohol eval.
Just dont get a second one.. Lol they dont hesitate to put you in jail for a few days haha.

I had a "bad stretch" where I got a loud party which cost $350 (after talking it down from $500) and then 2 months later got my minor which was $170 plus the additional $90 for alcohol class/CS. It was 16 hours of CS and I thought it was 3 days deferred jail but could have been 30? I don't even remember anymore.
