i have searched google for some info on this, but i cant find anything useful except for a bunch or ricers that say its a bad swap. i am sort interested in this swap, i have a 6.0l, and i am trying to find a s13 hatch down here in phoenix. can anyone post up a link for more info about it, maybe a wiring harness conversion or something.

-
ha, it needs a rebuild, i will prolly stroke it to 408, apparently you can bore and stroke 6.0ls to 434 or something like that but i donno.
mounts will be easy, but does anyone make a harness, or do i have to go through painless?

the lq4/lq9, what you have, is a 4.00 stock bore/ 3.622 stock stroke........
as a general guideline the lq4/lq9 blocks are to be kept around .030-040 max oversize .... usually not more that .010 on the ls1/ls2 aluminum blocks
the only way you are getting a 434" motor out of a lq9/lq4 block is with a >4.125 stroke or a sleeved block........... which is pointless when you can have the LSX block for less money
and the gm harness is a cake walk

i must of missed it, i just sorta skimmed them.
i have heard that the gm harness is easy, but i dont have one. so i thought if i could buy one that is matted to a 240 harness then that would be easier.
