corrupt ecu rom. Reloaded a proper ROM and all was good. Too bad Subaru doesn't know how to do stuff like this, you'd think it would be helpful at times.

(background, this car spent 4 days or so at Subaru in GF and they couldn't fix it...spent 15 minutes at my house and was running like new)

Do you do work with evos?

I know of a guy in your area with an ecu locked out by vishnu, and its stuck in a null state.

my expierence with vishnu (from a subaru stand point) is two things. send it back to vishnu to have it unlocked or if possible write over it. erase it back to stock then go from there.

I haven't in the past, but if someone is interested, I'd give it a try...I just need to get the tactrix cable for Mitsu.

yea, you were trying to help tyler out that night at scotts.

from my understanding is that when removing the XEDE, it locks you out of the ecu. I dont think you can really right over it though.

                    yeah.

Im not sure what happens with the xede when you remove it. but since its a piggyback you should just have to remove that and its back to stock again.

To prevent any shrinkage while flashing?

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!
