Haha good read.
Sometimes they can be a handful (the FPD, not the toddlers).
Couple years ago, when I was a Sr, I was sitting at a red light for a good two mins when these black history month lovers/foreigners just smoke me in rear bumper (they also hit the person next to me as they thought swerving to hit 2 cars was better than one). As I was talking to the officer he started interrogating me, after seeing i was driving a Honda, about 'if I had been speeding/cutting people off before I went to the light.' Like it would freaking matter seeming as how I was stopped at a red light. Well needless to say, as i was a minor, I called my dad and he came and yelled at the douche bag. If any of you have seen my dad you would know why I did that...

So your wife still has the number that the stolen phone was attached to two years ago? And the "detective" called that number to talk to your wife?

yeah, and he had a legit badge number etc. but the calling the number part is the funny part. I also double checked his info because the first thing I thought when she told me was: scammer.

The officer could tell that you are a dipshit and brought it on yourself.

The thing of it is, he was an asshole to my wife, rude, accusitory, and ignorant of what the situation entailed. These are people that are supposed to protect us? I took a shit yesterday that does more for the community.Too bad you didn't get it recorded on tape... and send it to his higher ups...
