Now, not trying to sound like a bad guy or anything, I guess I'm more uninformed than anything else, but I thought tumors only developed on major organs and whatnot. Correct me if I am wrong.

holy shit! just so you know, you might as well trim up that forest you got going on cause they will do it anyway. Anything that took off that quick shouldnt be a problem, its probably just some hyperplasia as a result of the injury. good luck with it as if its inside the joint your leg is gonna be bum for a couple months

basically a tumor is just an abnormal cell growth. they can occur anywhere on your body and can be caused by a number of things (lesions, infection, etc.). ever had a wart on your foot? tumor caused by a bacterial or viral infection.
