For the record...the award I won was for best detailer. I did not win an award for the car. I just happened to be in charge of prepping, fully detailing, and maintaining three cars. I also helped with a fourth car. Next time someone wants to complain about winning an award for having a "stock" car make sure you know what I actually won the award for.Bitter much Tony? lol
I did put a question mark behind your name. I was asking a question/making a suggestion.
Would you mind posting a pic of the lettering on the trophy. I though it was "Best Detailed", or something like that. Maybe I'm wrong.

I made a comment asking (well maybe not asking, but commenting) about why we there is a shit ton of "models," and it got deleted...by you I'm assuming. So the question is; do you really want feedback/comments positive or negative...or just positive comments? Will,
I deleted your comment, because just like every other comment you make on this forum, it was pointless. You find joy in trying to irritate people, and all I am trying to do is promote a show and business I work for. If you don't like me, Tintmasters, Shane, or all of the above, I am ok with that. I simply ask that you refrain from posting in any topic relating to us. Being this is a public forum, you have every right to post where you wish, but expect for them to get deleted if they are posted in our sub-forum. Your comment was rude, and contained no genuine feelings, unless you are honestly a homosexual, in which case I will address an answer if necessary. If you are not a homosexual, I think we both agree that having more female models at a car show is a good thing, and I will choose to disregard your rude comment.
I'm all for fun and games on this forum, just please let me try and do my job in as mature fashion as possible.

I can let you know what the trophy was on Monday. I know it wasn't 'Best Detailer', and applied to the car, not the individual. The part I found funny was Tony West going off (fairly quiet guy), and well....the whole point of him coming on here, was that he didn't have a stock car, regardless of what the trophy was for. My $5 remains in my pocket.
BEEEYAAAAAAHHHH -
It was Best Detailed.

The Trophy was for best detailed, not best detailer, I could've detailed 20+ cars there, but who would've known?
And i dont really consider stock parts from other cars, put onto another car "aftermarket"
I'm not saying theres anything wrong with the show by any means, but how many of the same judges do you have every year?
Also, I'm sure theres a list of winners from every year around somewhere, and i'm willing to bet you see atleast 10 of the same names on each list.

boo hoo... so, if you take a motor out of a USDM STi, and put it in a USDM WRX..... then its just a stock car? -
i dont even see how this is an argument. its kind of obvious that its been like this. i liked tonys car and im glad he won and whatnot, But really how hard is it to "detail" a car that has less than 3000 miles on it? i would think to "detail" a car it would have to be dirty first wouldnt it? take some of those jdm hondas that were there. those were detailed to the fuckin nuts and bolts with multiple motors swapped between them and 15+ years old and they were just as clean. THATS DETAILING, at least if you ask me i guess. but im not judge

Im confused? Isnt that a valid argument? The law doesnt even see it as a mod why should i care about?

I didnt get the chance to attend last years show but i heard it was a good one. My boss was there and he enjoyed watching the kids follow the models with their camera phones snapping pic's. I will attend this years and maybe i'll put the stang in.

Lets just focus on this years show. The judges will not be the same, but in past years, some have been the same. It is very difficult to find someone kind enough to spend the entire show judging cars and not enjoying the social aspect at all. Chuck is the only person I can think of for sure that has judged more than 1 show, and being he operates a competing business, we all thought he would always be fair, as well as his honest attitude. Some cars will continue to win the same trophies, and most deserve too. Judging and shows always leave a mixed bag of opinions, and that won't change. Enjoy the show, enjoy the gathering of people that are apart of your passion, and show off what your hard work has netted. That is what it is all about.
This thread has already gone in the wrong direction, so I will leave this thread as the 'whore out' thread, but please...PLEASE do not do this in every thread I create relating to the 2009 Perfect 10 Show. Please.
