yeah, I have been hearing alot of stories about people with a prosthetic limb that is out of sight (under clothing etc..) and one guy came in for a bone scan, got on the table perfectly fine and it wasnt until the scan got down to his legs did they realize he didnt have one, if there are people who can get along just fine with them then im that much more comfortable with the idea of having one...I think its just the fact that im losing the leg ive had for all my life...There was a guy that used to have tables at our gun shows... i didn't even know he had a prosthetic for a very long time, till I saw him take it off once... he pretty much walked normal, except maybe an occasional limp, and the pants covered it just fine.

you'd be a much bigger bad ass if you skipped the titanium/carbon fiber leg and went with a peg leg

I know its life and death im dealing with, Im very happy to be alive, and to know im going to get through this, the doctors at mayo are amazing. They are for sure life savers for many people. I know that they can save mine, at the cost of my left leg, its a small price to pay when it comes to this situation and im only trying to take it as best as I can...its not everyday you hear that your leg needs to be amputated.Don't listen to CMK. Find all of the small things that get by that you can. This isn't an easy situation, so just keep yourself happy in the time being. You'll learn to be thankful for your life, but with the levity of the situation, it probably hasn't even set in yet, and "fun"(your car), keeps your mind off the situation. I say game on!
Edit: On further reading, I see you even put "or atleast thats how I feel". Exactly. What else are you supposed to feel? You can feel whatever you want, and seeing as how you are in high spirits(looks it anyway), no one should be concerned what you are thinking about.

Well, I have an obsession with cars, its what I know most about, what I love. The surgery will be determined sometime in 3 months, I have to be treated with chemo for that long until they can go in and get out as much as they can, but I will be on chemo for a long - term of 10 months.

SHUT THE FUCK UP CMKlet him deal with it the way he wants. youre nobody special that should be telling them how to take care of this. it makes YOU look very immature acting that way to someone who just found out alot of bad news. YOU look at the big picture
Do you feel better after your temper tantrum? One day when you grow up a little you will see things differently.

Everyone deals with situations differently, and for him to openly criticize was not appropriate. I pretty much feel the same about the growing up comment.

CMK, your a dumb fuck aren't you? People love the things they do because it makes them happy. JN's car makes him happy, so he would like to think about that instead of the things that are going on with his life at the moment. If it makes him happy, so be it. Just because it sounds bad to you, gives you ZERO right to open your fuckin' mouth and try to make it sound like he's a dumbass for keeping his mind off the negative shit that's going on, and try to make himself happy.
All I can say is you have a big fuckin' mouth and tend to open a lot as we all can tell from your pointless ass post whoring. That's all fine and dandy when we can simply ignore it. But when it's a real life situation like what is happening to JN, shut your fucking mouth and learn to be compassionate for others.
God damn I love ignorant fuckheads.
On a positive note, Good luck with whatever happens JN. Keep your head high. My grandma was in the hospital for over 4 months with a broken neck and leg from a car accident. Best thing you can do is keep your head high as you are doing. Think positive and no matter the outcome, you'll be thankful for it later.

What I think CMK was trying to say was "Yes, you have cancer and that is a horrible thing for anyone to go through...but to come to a forum and beg people to finish your car for you seems childish and whatnot....you have more important things to concentrate on (debatable...a good distraction can go a long way) and if people want to help you, that is fine but don't go begging for it just to exploit your condition..."
I read JN's posts on this topic and I can see how someone can come to the conclusions that CMK did. I also understand how people would get upset about how/why CMK posted what he did.
Surprisingly, I don't think CMK said what he did to stir the pot this time. I think it was a feeling of how he actually felt on the subject and since this is RYM I'm not going to edit it out despite all the emails asking me to do so.
While I personally don't necessarily agree with Chris on this issue, I can't stop him from Running His Mouth or speaking how he wants.

I agree, but the lack of respect is downright wrong. Yes, its RYM section, but c'mon. Grow the fuck up in a situation like this. Whether he meant it like that or not, I really don't care. What you say is what you say. Read your post before you post it so you don't sound like a jackoff when it's something related to a serious health issue such as this.

Seriously CMK, shut the fuck up.Chuck, don't try and defend CMK. He never knows when to shut up on topics.
First, I don't know if I was defending him saying it so much as his right to say it.
Second, you and I are the last ones that should talk about when to shut up on a topic.
Third, while I do think that he (CMK) came off as stirring the pot, I don't think that was his intent. I think he called it how he saw it. Nothing wrong with that.
Fourth, I don't think he was making fun of the kid or bringing him down BECAUSE of his health issues, he just wasn't raising him above criticism either....I think Jeff wants things to be "normal" again and probably doesn't want to be treated any different than anyone else...that includes criticism on behavior/posts. How many threads were started flaming JN210 before we found out he has a health issue? How many since? Is that normal??
I'm glad to help him out in any way that I can. If I were in his shoes I'd love it if others took an interest in helping me out as well. While Dr's are rebuilding his body, his friends/community are rebuilding the one thing that he really cares about and what he looks forward to.

I understand, I didnt try to sound like that, Im not trying to, but i cant quite think clearly sometimes and I do agree, it is quite childish and I shouldnt come off that like. My apologies.Jeff
I understand as well that things don't always come across the way you want them to when you type. No need to apologize, we all say things in ways that can be misconstrued...it happens.
