Ron Paul Followers......

First off, I am one to post up everything that I read....cause I know most of what you read is not always 100% accurate. This email I received, was looked into and it is pretty insane. The government doesn't like Ron Paul, and I just hope he doesn't end up 'disappearing'.
Article (This could easily happen in any state in our wonderful country):
March 17, 2009
Dear Friend of Liberty,
Maybe you've heard, or maybe not, but the Missouri State Police think you might be a security threat.
Why? Because you support Ron Paul and the Campaign for Liberty. Also, because maybe you own guns, oppose abortion or homeschool.
Even, and I'm serious, because you support the U.S. Constitution.
I know, it's ridiculous...and probably steams you a bit.
But here at Campaign for Liberty we are going to give this foolishness the treatment it deserves. More on that in a moment. Let me give you a bit more background.
As you may be aware by now, the Missouri Information Analysis Center (MIAC) recently released a report titled, "The Modern Militia Movement" to over one thousand Missouri law enforcement officers.
What is the Missouri Information Analysis Center? According to its website,
"MIAC is the mechanism to collect incident reports of suspicious activities to be evaluated and analyzed in an effort to identify potential trends or patterns of terrorist or criminal operations within the state of Missouri. MIAC will also function as a vehicle for two-way communication between federal, state and local law enforcement community within our region."
The MIAC warned officers that violent militia members are "usually" supporters of presidential candidates like Ron Paul and are also known for opposition to things like the Federal Reserve and the income tax.
The "study" was undoubtably written by some university liberal who knows nothing of the hundreds of thousands of Missourians who share our values. I can only imagine how many hundreds of thousands of Missouri tax dollars funded this.
Both Ron Paul and Campaign for Liberty champion principles of freedom, peace, and prosperity. We believe that the Founder's vision for America can be reclaimed through education and peaceful activism. It is a common practice of elitist intellectuals and backroom bureaucrats to attempt to crowd everyone into groups and stick labels on them, especially when it involves those who support a Constitutionally-limited government.
Anthony Gregory, editor-in-chief at Campaign for Liberty, has posted an excellent new article on our site concerning government broad-brush fear campaigns.
It is important that we respond in the right way when faced with such a government labeling, and the proper way is to go straight to the top in Missouri.
The way to fight thugs and ignorant people in authority is not to cower or rage, but to proudly proclaim who you are and what you believe.
That's why I urge you to sign our Citizen's Petition here today.
Our petition spells out in no uncertain terms who we are and what we believe. And it reminds those in charge of enforcing Missouri's laws that we are citizen activists who will not be intimidated nor embarassed into silence.
Simply owning a gun does not make you a threat. It means you are a free citizen.
Supporting our Constitution does not make you worthy of a watchlist, it makes you a Patriot.
So please, sign our Citizen's Petition today. Be sure to stay tuned for more information on how we plan to respond to the MIAC.
Finally, I want to ask you a final favor. If you can, please join us next week as we gather in St. Louis for the first Campaign for Liberty Regional Conference and show the people of Missouri what Campaign for Liberty truly stands for and represents.
We will be hosting a free event on Friday Night with Ron Paul and Judge Andrew Napolitano that is open to the public, and the conference will be highlighted by grassroots training on Saturday, March 28.
Learning how to properly mobilize in order to implement liberty-based legislation is absolutely critical to our success as a movement, and our Regional Conference will provide you with the tools you need as we move forward.
For more information on our Conference, check out our Regional Conference page. For special travel and hotel information, click here.
Liberty is never free, and demands vigilance.
I look forward to seeing you in St. Louis for an exciting weekend of celebration and training!
In Liberty,
John Tate

Did you read the article? I am confused with your comment. Ron Paul isn't/didnt have a chance at being president. That was September 2008 news. This article is today's news. Gun owners know about what is happening, and the fact that government is against Ron Paul supporters (whether as a government official, or just a constitutionalist), when he is not offering any information than what our country was founded on!
The fact that it is possible to be arrested or shot for having a bumper sticker that says ANYTHING is what scares me....not the fact that the bumper sticker says "Ron Paul".
The 'care' in this thread may be very little to many/most, but to others (like myself), there is much 'care'.

Cliffnotes? Im kinda confused

Cliff:
If you align yourself with a 3rd party or publicly display some forms of displeasure with the government you're more than likely going to be labeled a "terrorist" (this word is no longer being allowed under Obama now though, TERRORIST is not politically correct) and be on a FBI watchlist.

A government group in Missouri issued a newsletter to cops/other law enforcement in missouri saying that people with Ron Paul or "End the Fed" or Gun-rights or even pro-constitution related bumper stickers are typically part of a "new militia movement" and are possible terrorists.
Alex Jones "broke" the original story and is kind of a yahoo. He's solidly a 9/11 troofer and as such his credibility is pretty poor. OTOH this sounds reasonably legit to me.

The Missouri 51st Citizens Militia is one of the Best organized and well run Militia's in the Country, not surprising that something like this starts there.

I think the email is what it is, AN E-MAIL, I can write anything and say its the truth. Is there any proof to back it up?
What I meant by the election is over, is that its over. Who cares about ron paul. hes done. I am sorry if that hurts ur feelings. But its an E-MAIL. Not an AP ariticle. Not a docturine signed by the O-great Obama, Not a passed bill by Bush, Not anything but an email. Dont get so worked up. Militias have been around forever, same with the KKK and the nazi skinheads.
So you think that, that might have something to do with stereotyping?? its not like neither of those groups or anyone in it support him.....LOL
According to the EMAIL this thread could be reported to the MIAC. -

Ron Paul is still a congressman from Texas, district 14, and he's still the only guy that actually knows what the constitution says and follows it.
People that understand the proper role of the federal government are few and far between. I tend to support them irrespective of what public office they're holding.

I'm also confused, people still care about Ron Paul?Ignorant, and Ignorant.
Ron Paul is STILL a Senator, and still your best chance for any part of the Constitution to be saved. He's not done, and it doesn't hurt my feelings one bit by you saying so, because you couldn't be more wrong. He's been the voice of reason amidst this great spending bill era of our current government.
I like how you lumped militia's in with the KKK and skin heads. Who the fuck fought the war to give you your country? Militia's, smart guy. Those who desire to give up freedom in order to gain security will not have, nor do they deserve, either one. -Benjamin Franklin
The thing that amazes me the most about our country currently, is our innate ability to FORGET the past, good or bad. 50 Years ago, if you even said anything positive towards a socialist, you were liable to lose your job. Congress passes the Patriot act, then everyone grills BUSH for it. Just sad i guess.

No what is sad, is that people still are hanging off of ron pauls nutz and that "he is the answer to everything." well guess what, he didnt get elected.
Its your personal opinion that he is gonna save the constitution. Its also your personal opinion that the constitution needs to be saved.
O and according to the email I got the other day, all the kkk and skin heads, and illegal immigrants, and terrorist support ron paul too. they said they would be rolling with his bumper sticker. LOL
My emails say all kinds of shit too.
