Ya talked to a Mcdonalds store in Fargo this morning (I work for "corp" mcdonalds) anyways and she said she lived right by the river and is kicking her self for not having flood insurance. :icon_scratch: Why would you not have flood insurance if you lived by the river in this area, kinda dumb if you ask me

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

              No.

A lot of people do not have flood insurance.

Well finished filling sandbags this morning. Got a lot done, good volunteer turn out. ran out of sand around 6 or so. due to the weather being bad, but got some more in around 8. There was a dike that broke around 6 am as well somewhere in fargo, but they sent out a team to go fix it......

Oh god Bismarck is getting destroyed by this shit right now. They're forcing a LOT of evacuations. It's amazing the amount of people helping out with all of this, and everyone's attitudes are good too, which is good for Fargo.

My mustang = goner more than likely 🙂

Went out to a coworkers place yesterday to help raise his dike up another 2 or 3 feet, he didn't expect he'd need it. Today he called and said water is up on the dike and is at least a foot higher than levels in 97. He lives on the wild rice south of Fargo about 5 miles.

It was up another half foot or so horizontally from the time I took that last picture to the time we left.
