really Joel?
It was a voluntary evac call. We wont leave til our power shuts off or our wall breaks. even if they shut off our power we figured we could go for 2 maybe 3 days with the gas pump and generator we have. We might sleep somewhere else but my dad will stay here until we run out of gas... -

I made a run with 3 more pumps out to my dad's this morning. He was maintaining the 1' in the basement. I took Wild Rice exit to Uni. then North to 88 Ave. Hit water at Uni. going north to 88 ave. I was pushing and breaking ice with 1.5' of water on the road. I get out there and the evac boat shows up. They tell me the guy in the boat was waiting for pumps and to load it up. I head out and get a call from my dad and asked what happened. He tells they drove by him and turned and pushed him over the road. He couldn't get to me from other side, too much ice.
There is a lot of water building up just south of Fargo. It is just starting to work its way to the west and come between Univ. and I-29. Be prepared to leave if on the southside.....

Thanx for the offer. I was going to dig through the trailers for some big gas pumps but He cannot get the boat to the road right now.

just got back from sandbagging down south. We had the best line going. just rolling the sandbags over our arms. although the do need more people bagging the way it seems. Sometimes it would take 30 min -1 hr to get more bags to people. we had walk and search a while before we found someone with bags, and when the ran out had to find a different house, being it took so long to get the sandbags there. But its awesome to see everyone come together. I was standing next to a 60 year old guy and a 16 year old girl. great work guys keep it up!
