i sandbagged for 12 hours yesterday so you can STFU! lol. been watching pumps all day / night and it looks like i won't be getting any sleep before the 4am patrol.haha lol, good job man. I just got back from patrol, 2 hours flew by pretty quick. A cop came and bullshitted with us for a bit. not bad but its starting to get chilly. I know I havnt sandbagged much, but every little bit helps, Im too sick to be out there for 12 hours, dayquil only does so much lol.

Is everything perty much done then? Filling bags and dike building i mean?

anyone know how bad 94 is heading west bound from the cities???? Wondering if we will be able to make it back?? Also the news out here said that next week, that the dikes that were built will most likely not make it from the pressure of the water??? I just dont want to come back and then weds wake up and fargo is pretty much gone.

All the **rumors **and false information going around is getting a little ridiculous. That is what is making this 'chaos.'The reason all these rumores are flying around is because there are a lot of people who feel they are with holding information from us.
Alot of these rumors are turning out to be true.
funny how that works out.

The water has gone down behind my house by 2 inches since 4am. I hope we already hit our crest. -

that does not mean much... -
Hopefully this time the NWS can be right and the forecast just shows a steady decline.

I know, I remember in 97, it went up 3 feet after the peak in a situation almost identical to this.
The watter never went down, then came back up. It just slowly rose... were not gonna get much more water than whats on the dikes now... maybe a couple inches if that. -
