A Crest PREDICTION is just that A FUCKING GUESS. There was no information supporting anything over 41 ft. NWS never gave any number over 41 as a solid prediction. It hasnt even hit 41 yet.please show me an example document of both a "crest PREDICTION" and "solid prediction"
lol that is such a stupid paragraph.....my god
lol, so a supposed "solid prediction" has no guessing involved at all?? could just as well mark it in history because it is a guarantee aye??

Where did the Luther Dealerships bring all thier cars? I saw the buildings where empty and sandbagged. The rest looked empty.i heard they took them to the fair grounds.

It's funny, I can't beleive people are knocking the guard now. It's funny, I have gaurd friends who are, right now, pulling people out of their homes. Thats not only it. They are also sand bagging and helping while not on the clock.
Give it a break, there are people here to help, wether they are getting paid or not.

On another note: I think the guard has been working their asses off right along with the citizens, yes they are directing traffic, but i have also seen them doing bagging, both filling and tossing, and running heavy equipment. now they are protecting neigborhoods and helping keep the dikes safe. Maybe it's the military background in me, But for Fuc* sake! Give em a break, they are only allowed to do what they are ordered to do.

Also: Caught this hiding in a corner!

The whole issue was rexwagon claiming that without the National Guard the city would have flooded and insinuating that the guardsmen did all of the work. Did they help? Most definitely they helped. Were they the sole reason that the city hasn't completely flooded yet? No. If he would have said that the guard was helping fight the flood and was providing security/support then there would be no beef. Instead he is claiming that we owe it all to the guard.

2 i am not saying that anyone owes it all to us. just saying that we helped. but your disrespecting the military and everyone who has worn the uniform. Maybe one day you will need us and we wont be there to help you. I can only pray for that day.
