Ya; same thing with the embryo's of Females; should each one that comes out be saved for people who want to be fertalized w/o having intercourse or whateva... If a girl wanted to not have a kid and couldn't get abortion I think she could abuse her body just enough to have a miscarriage... To most girls; having a child put up for adoption is hard; because once the baby is born they may become attached. Even though they regret having to go thru the 9 months.. Who knows; there is no "good" answer. I don't think abortion should be 100% legal or 100% illegal.. (cuz reasons can fall both ways..) IMO -

the government regulating whether or not abortion is allowed is a ridiculous issue.
let's look at this from a philosophical point; is the child a member of the moral community? no.
just because a grouping of tissues that is, at anypoint before birth, a tumor, doesn't mean it should be given a chance at living on it's own.
just because it could live (barring defects and complications during the birth or later in pregnancy) doesn't mean that a woman must go through child-birth and rack up the medical bills.
i mean, looking at pregnancy from the perspective of an alien... the egg becomes aggrivated by the sperm and so attaches to the uterus. here, it sucks nutrients from the host, growing for about 9 months. once it feels that the host can't provide the sustenance it requires, the parasite leaves its host in search of food. -
