Tumor...fuck...

^thats the only thing about that makes me wanting to get it done, other than that I think that its got to be the most fucked up thing ever lol. I guess kids that are 10 and under that get it done though love it and actually are the ones that prompt to get it done, so I figure if they can do it, why cant I?. chances are though that the little kids parents are the ones that put it in their heads that its good, and if I dont like it and cant get it to work the way its suppose to then I can just have them cut it off and I'll be stuck with a stump of a leg and always and forever have a straight leg. This operation is called "Van-ess" by the way.

There is a bunch more out there, but try searching it as Van-Nes rotation, Rotationplasty, Rotational Plasty.
It seems a promising procedure, and if you think about it purely mechanically, they are basically saving you from loosing two pivoting joints, instead you can at least keep the one which is fine, your foot, and it will give you a better range of motion.
I'm thinking that operating a clutch is in no way out of the question when looking at what others with this on other websites can do. Wish you the best of luck with all of this. -
Jeff I'll be sure to come down in June to be there for the operation. As you know with the military it's hard to get time off to go anywhere. Espicially with all the excercise's that we've been going through. June is going to be a crazy month but I'll fight to come down there for your surgery. I'll be there 150% mang. Just hang in there.

ok, quick update here since it has been awhile, im in Mayo now getting more chemo but im going to be back and running about with my new 240 next week hopefully and we ought to have a cruise that friday. Dang ya know, I tell ya, chemo is the worse shit you could ever have done to you, it takes alot out of you, but for some reason my body has been handling it well this time around. I also found out when the amputation surgery is, June 5th, so its coming up faster than I anticipated, there is nothing like the feeling of knowing they are going to take your leg...which means no manuals for awhile, I should however be perfectly back to normal and running/walking/shifting and so forth by august.
