sheyenne just broke loose north of west fargo again...time to go park on the highway again.

    Holy crap you are right.

It looks like it is raising an inch an hour right now.

I like how it has allready surpassed the 10% chance projected.

Plus it will probably be at the projected crest in about 5 hours that they though was going to hit on the 14th.

    Wow.

I am getting a little worried about the Sheyenne pushing over into the Wild Rice. Once the Wild Rice fills, is it going to start pushing north towards Fargo like it did in 97'???

I was going to say, judging by being out in the Horace area the last week, the river was higher than before. They were building more dikes on 40th ave so today, which made traffic a blast!

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

I just heard a FEMA breifing. They are talking with Congress on how to alleviate the high waters in the FM area. They are talking about starting a much wider channel starting at 90 Ave. S in Moorhead from river almost up to 75 and going North with it to 80 Ave. then use 3rd St. up North to 40 th Ave. then use 8th St/75 North again.

I made that up but I wasn't too far off.. lol
