2wd rear wheel automatic car (I'll be driving automatics for awhile, reason obvious) but I dont think we will need to go anywhere, Im actually working on getting him to bring it to me anyway.

I'd drive it... if u get pulled over, u just bought it and a driving home.. i've done it before and never got more than a hassle from the cops...

what year is the S10..... i think it was the pre 96 cars had a 2000 max capacity while everything after went up to 5000 max. i would personally just drive it like everyone else is saying. as for that after you buy the car you have a 30 day grace period on inssuring it, im pretty sure ND doesn't have that. not sure about MN

You do not need registration in Minnesota after you purchased a car, just MAKE SURE YOU SIGN THE TITLE!!!!!!! Almost got arrested in Illinois for that.
