So I've been a member of FargoStreet for not very long. Never knew about the forum before...Jason from TM told me a couple months back that I could try to sell an exhaust system here. So I checked it out. I was excited to find such a nice car community tool focused on the local area.
So it occurs to me the other day that I still haven't done what I was referred to FS in the first place to do...sell my exhaust. And, of course, I didn't meet the post requirements for placing an ad. No big deal. I can comment on some events and some people's cars over the next couple days until I hit that 50.
I really find it funny that some little d-bag has nothing better to do than PM someone new, taunting them about their future for sale thread, cussing at them, and calling them noob. Really? You're really going to make fun of me because you knew about a website before I did? Wow, what a hardcore burn. I think the best part was the "we'll see how long your for sale thread stays up
:)" threat.I've been a regular participant on IWSTI because I loved the atmosphere. No one cares who's a "noob", no one cares if a silly question gets asked, no one cares if people leave a bunch of "nice ride" comments about people's cars so they can post up a part they have for sale. We encourage people because we want to help connect with other people who share similar interests.
I looked at the way this individual was behaving, and almost questioned whether I really wanted to be a part of this community or not. I do, because I've had some friendly PMs since I've been here too, and I still think this forum is a fantastic resource for getting people together, and advertising the races and shows that we all enjoy. I just think it's a shame that some people are so bitter, so retarded, or just plain have nothing better to do, that they try to ruin the experience for others.
Keep it up, FargoStreet. Great forum.

Dont worry about anyone that post or pm a threat to you on this forum. They have nothing to back themselves up... Either physically or on this forum. And, the only ones who do have the wherewithal to do anything dont care. None of the little punkasses that threaten you got shit to represent with. Your not really whoring. I have seen your posts and more of them are contributory than the contrary.

Haha, +1 BadlandsRacer. Nice to see that you relies all the whoring to, that is why i hardly use this site anymore. But people do seem to lighten up after awhile. And like you said it is a good place to find some events and check out the classifieds every once and awhile.

Have you heard of scammers? this is why there is a post count limit to help prevent scamming. as today people are mostly peices of shit and don't care if they sell you a part that is broken bad don't ship stuff etc...
So NO you can't just go around doushing it up to sell stuff, as jim has said many times before this is fargostreet not craigslist. so yes you can sell but if you don't contribute GTFO.
Now i don't know you but based on your additude and statments you sound like a doushe.

Give the guy a chance, Wtf does everyone else here do, Hell that is what a forum is essentially, people "douching it up" as you say. Fk, he hasn't screwed anyone yet. Just cause he is a noob, and would like to sell something in a classified section that requires a 50 post standard. How the fk is he supposed to get to 50 posts otherwise? maybe we should just can the classifieds since you are so worried about everybody screwing everyone with junk for sale. As for his attitude, i didn't read anything bad out of what he typed, Hell you'd be pissed to if somebody went out of their way to PM a smart ass statement to you such as he was talking about. this is NOT craigslist, it is a car forum, and if he has so little to say on a day to day basis then why shoul dhe be allowed to post classifieds?
