I think the key word was "usable".......... as in on the street, not the dyno

I think I could find a use for 1000hp on the street. Like killing liter bikes, besides to make that much power there would undoubtedly be a lot of boost lag so under 2500 rpm it'd probably be very streetable save for the clutch.

Scroll down to the nsx with the dyno graph that reads 921whp 641tq.

i think that will work. oh and the power band isn't bad either.

NSX, then I'd sell it and buy a supra. With the extra money I'd mod away.

no but seriously...supras are sick and make more power easily, but NSX's are so rare.

I powdercoat. If it can fit in my oven, I can do it cheap.

I'd rather have a targa supra, paint it orange with a big wing... with two of the big ones.

Although I'd take an NSX if joranda brewster came with it...

I say NSX all the way on this one. The NSX is an exotic car. The supra is a fast car, and you can make it much faster still, but it's never going to leap into the "exotic" category no matter what you do to it.

The NSX looks like something special and it is certainly fast enough out of the box to satisfy all but the diehard speed freaks.

The canonical comparison is: do you want a Ferrari or a 10 second civic? Many people want the slower Ferrari and are happy to pay more for it. I'm in no way suggestion that the distance between the NSX and Supra is the same as a Ferrari and a Civic, but there is a distance in terms of how these vehicles are categorized and how many people think about them.

The prices on the 2 are probably a lot closer than you think...

And NSX's really arent that rare. They are just expensive and not practical for our weather/ roads. They are all over down south. And there are more NSXs in Fargo than MkIV supras I bet

NSX's are like $40,000, obviously used.

eh you can pick up a nice early 90's nsx in the 20k range less if it is beat up.

same goes for turbo supra's unless it is that stupid silver everyone loses it over

I was just gonna say exactly what Joel did. Besides Dave's I have yet to see a MKIV Supra in town, but I have seen a black NSX and a blue one. I did see a yellow turbo Supra in Minot once, but not here in Fargo.
