ND deer app deadline!

so in the last year i switched my residence to ND and was wondering how this whole ND deer thing works

Actually the first lottery deadline is today at midnite i thought. I put in my application today.

You need to have a hunter's safety number before you can apply.

I've never hunted anything before and didn't become interested in gun ownership until October 2008. Big surprise.

My bad! Thanks for the info thrash. I was told it was the 6th. Anyhoo i fixed my first post.

Took 2 years off and need to get out again. Put in for 4 tags for the whole family. Great way to get out of the city and enjoy the outdoors. Can't wait.

I'm assuming you previously hunted in MN where a buck is a 'given'. In ND you lottery for bucks or does. Does are pretty much a given, however a buck is not (especially if you miss the first lottery).

To enter the lottery online and meet the deadline, grab your hunters safety card and a credit card and follow this link:https://secure.apps.state.nd.us/gnf/onlineservices/lic/public/online/lot/lotterypurchase.htm

It will walk you through the process, and at the end you pay $20 with a credit card and they mail you whatever tag your receive from the lottery.

Unit First Choice: 2B
Unit Second Choice: 2F2

Deer First Choice: Any Antlered
Deer Second Choice: Any Antlerless

We hunt in the Hope/Page/Fuller Refuge area in 2B, and just west of Luverne in 2F2. We stay in the wonderful town of Luverne either way, as the 'Cozy Corner' Bar has a big buck/big doe competition, chili feeds at night, and the second weekend they have a raffle/casino.

i hunt it 2b,2g, and 2f2 as well....theres a ton of deer in all these areas...

I stick around the Enderlin/Buffalo area usually though.

I was going to say if you hunted in 2g, id probably have seen your group, its a small unit that we used to own a lot of the land of until my great grandpa passed away last year, and my uncle closed down the game farm.
