Car Wash

Well a friend and I will be holding a car wash to raise money on Saturday June 13th.
This friend of mine lost his son to cancer almost 2 years ago, ever since then he keeps in contact with the childrens center at meritcare. During the last radiothon that they did in feb, this one little girl touched his heart, come to find out that she has some kind of brain cancer. now she is paralized from the waist down and one of her eyes is starting to wonder and sees double out of that same eye, and she is only 8 years old, i can not release the name due to her being underage. they live in a smaller town just north of fargo im not sure what town it is though, her mother has since quit her job so she can be with her daughter all the time. Her one wish is to raise $5000 for the make a wish program and she has raise $2500 all by herself already. What we take in from the car wash will go to her if thats what she wants and the rest will go to the family to help with expences. Like i said the car wash will be on Saturday June 13th from Noon to 5pm at the sunmart in moorhead on 8th st.
Wash and dry will be $6 and donations are welcome. I know the Redline show is the same day, but if you dont plan on attending that event and have a dirty car or know someone that has a dirty car or just want to donate a little come on down. -

well i dont know if anyone from here showed up or not, but ill still put an update on it. the wash went great, we raised $434 in 5 hours. we were busy all day long it was great. along with some of the other fund raising (making hemp braclets) all together we made $754 for the family.

i stopped out and donated but didnt get a wash. im glad you guys got some money together thats awesome!
