I actually dont listen to much music here as far as jpop goes...im really into techno. Shinichi Osawa is pretty sick. im going to be going here next week to see lupe.
get this...cover is 30 bucks plus a free drink...table service is 20 bucks a head....versus 200 dollar bottle to sit at a table. I love Japan.
side note: club has 3 different dance floors and a pool.

from what i understand jim is that is a common surgery done in asia because lots of asians dont have the double lid.
-
on a side note...japanese girls have fucked up teeth...though its becoming less so. finally understood a dental plan

I've actually come to like a few Japanese hip-hop artists/groups, some regular and some instrumental. Nujabes, Fat Jon, Force of Nature, Tsutchie and Rip Slyme are some of what I like, it's a damn site better than most american hop-hop nowadays. :icon_thumright:

word thats cool. so you speak japanese?
-
No not really, I just like the way there music sounds, they do throw some english lyrics in there also though. It's like listening to Rammstein, I don't really know german but I like there music.:)
Although, I've been thinking about giving Rostta Stone a try.

Might wanna try hooked on phonics as well.

lol...
if your lookin for commonly used textbooks...genki (which translate to happy) is very commonly used. Once you finished the first 2 books...you should be able to get around japan by yourself. At least that is the level I am at.

all i gotta say...shinjuku kabaroke....ive never been solicitated so many times in my life....
second second side note...drinking is mad cheap...2 bucks for pint glass of vodka ginger ale...unheard of (at least in chicago)...If you like shinjuku you should visit roppongi, girls will literally drag you away. as for the drinks you struck gold most beer is 6 bucks a pint,8-14 for most american and german beers and shots and mixed drinks are usually around 10-12 give or take .50 depending on the exchange rate.

lol im not really into massage parlors and gentlemens clubs...but roppongi does have less of an asian influence...
i went out drink with one of my japanese teachers and got shit faced...good times.
