    Dart blocks are pretty cool until you figure out everything you need to make it work. 🙂

    Dart Block, Crank, Bearings, Oil Squirters, Pistons, and Rods makes that bottom end price go up pretty quick. 🙂

          Sleeved stock b series motor is just fine. Good condition B series cranks can be hard to come by. If you are looking into having a motor sleeved let me know.

            With a dart block you won't ever have to worry about sinking sleeves. Also, there are just two different size blocks, the short and tall deck. Short is the b16, tall is the rest of the B-series motors.

              Uhm. You just need the right kind of sleeves to not have to worry about sleeves sinking. 😉

                Any sleeve....benson darton GE AEBS all have a chance of sinking. If you're gonna go all out, might as well go Dart.

                  Any sleeve? Have you seen the design of the AEBS sleeve? It's shaped like a T... Sits on top of a ledge. Hard to sink when it's got a lip butted up against something.

                  I've been "all out" for almost 4 years now. I have AEBS sleeves in my motor, and have used them in two other motors for others as well. Also, all pro cars use OEM honda blocks w/ aftermarket sleeves @ HP levels approaching 1200-1300 whp. Dart block isn't worth it IMHO.

                    Actually, I would have to agree with GSR for once. We are a dealer of AEBs and Dart. I would rather sell someone AEBS. IMHO

                          My AEBS motor has seen in excess of 30 psi with zero problems. Boost pressure isn't the killer, detonation is the killer.

                          A stock LS block can and has dealt with 25+ psi no problem. It is all in the tune. Even a well bult AEBS block can grenade if the tune is that bad.

                            not saying that the dart block is a bad thing. Just that the stock block and AEBS sleeving is just more economical. And has some pretty high tolerances

                               Same material used in top fuel cars 
                            

                            Successfully tested to 55 lbs. of boost

                            AEBS T-Sleeve Engine Work $1075
                            not bad for $1475 and the cost of a stock block $150-$200

                            if you want to take a look at an AEBS sleeved/ o-ringed block.... drop by the Fargo shop before we put the head on.
