Windows Mobile is a big pile. It's great at first, but you have to keep doing hard resets to keep it running smoothly. If your a n00b. Propery matience just like a computer keeps them running fine.
HTC Touch Pro 2, is by far the best choice right now.

There's so much more that you can do with a Windows Mobile phone...

Very good quality of pictures. Browsing the internet was good too.
The issue's I had with my tour were this. Everytime I'd go and try to open my inbox for email or text's or anything, it took a few seconds to even move to the icon, then another few seconds to open it. Happened for damn near everything I tried to do. Oh, and not to mention the battery life is complete garbage. I had it sitting on my desk from 8am - 5pm (didn't use it once) and it was dead on my way home from work.
If you can live with that, the phone is great.

when i first got my curve it did that also when ever i would get some texts in my inbox. but if you go through and get rid of all the pontless programs that arent needed ( chinese os, german os, a bucnh of that stuff) it goes waaay faster. ive never had an issue after that.
what did you do with your tour??

I wiped it clean. Had the bare minimum on it. I could have had a melon too, who knows.
I got mine the day the verizon stores got them in with my 2 year upgrade, so i had 30 days to bring it back.
So, I returned it, got $150 refunded, and walked out with the LG Env 3.
Decided I didn't really need a smart phone (why pay $40 a month) when I'm at a PC (or close to one) 12 hours a day.

Only time I've ever had my Curve 8330 slow down on me was when it was DL'ing some software upgrade....happened quite a bit the first 2 weeks I owned it, but after that it was great.

Joe reset your phone by removing the battery, also hold down the ALT key and press LGLG when the next screen comes up press your menu button and then select clear. Also you should do a memory clean just go to your security options and select memory clean it doesn't erase anything you would want to keep just unneeded shit. Thanks lol didn't know that shit existed..

Couldn't agree more. I just hard reset my phone for the first time after roughly 2 years the other day because something weird happened. Love my Treo700wx, even tho it is a little old and a little slow with WM6.1, but just love how it works.
Windows>Blackberry.

Anybody use an Android phone or are they even available around here?
I keep hearing about how awesome they are from different reviews I've read but I'm kind if still on the fence. That HTC Touch Pro 2 looks like a sweet ass phone, it looks easy to use as well.

i love my 8330. Joe, I would suggest downloading the program called quickpull from BBAppworld. It allows a hard reset without having to qhysically take the battery out of the phone. U can also set it to restart itself every night at like 4am so you never have to wait 15 minuted for it to turn back on like it takes sometimes.

Kelly, If you plan on using internet a lot, go with a blackberry or smart phone. If you don't, I would suggest buying an Env3. I have a blackberry myself and the only reason I have it is because I use the internet. I just set my 50 yr old mother up with an env3 and got her using everything on it. I like that phone a lot. if the internet was a little better, ide rather have that than the curve I'm using.
