court for sure dude, court has been worth it both times i went, chances are your luck could change for the better! you dont have much to loose so i would at least try!

Take it to court, worst thing that can happen is you lose and you're out some time. Oh, and your (or the other persons) auto insurance should cover the ride to the hospital. Thats what PIP (personal injury protection) insurance is for.

You could also check the "black box" thinger that lots of cars have, if hers did, and see if the blinker was activated...if they checked it and it was, she'd be f'd. (the other driver that is)

more of the story: elisa was turning left onto 8th
Chick's story ---> she was going straight and elisa pulled out infront of her.
Elisa's story ---> she swears the chick was in the right turning lane WITH her blinker on.
some facts ---> the chick didnt slow down at all, the chick swearved toward the median, elisa swearved right
Scenario #1 ---> chick was going straight and elisa pulled out infront of her
Scenario #2 ---> chick was in the turning lane and realized she didnt want to be, so she looked over her shoulder (hense no slowing down) and was pulling back out into the regular lane (hense swerving that direction) and turned around and elisa was right there and they smacked.The chick lives right by us, only 1 street south, so im sure she was going to turn at the next street. So MAYBE she was just in the wrong turning lane....who knows...or elisa could've just pulled out infront of her.

take it to court, cop should offer her the right to a fair trial and not takin her side of the story should be something to think about.

take it to court then sue the other chicks ass for damages and check the black box too, if it says her blinker was on then can't she get in trouble for lying to a cop?

we know she was lying to the cop. She claimed she was laying on the horn before she hit elisa. Well.....her airbags went off. Dont you think she would have at least a sore arm, if not a broken one? NOPE, NOTHING. She has no injuries, or nothing sore even. So shes definatly lying about that, which makes me think shes just lying about the whole thing to get out of it being her fault
