94-96 Impalla SS > Mercury Marauder
True story.
And whats with the burnouts? Burnouts are cool and all. but how bout showing something that lets us know what the car is actually made of, like some runs on the highway, track times, etc etc. Maybe all they do is burnouts because the thing has piss poor traction

Ooooo bowtie <-> Blue oval pissing match!
I"M IN!
honestly, I like the 94-96 impalas myself as well, but the marauder just has so much more style IMO. And granted that motor has killer potential, but there's guys that'll run right next to them with a correctly set up DOHC Ford motor.
what's with the burnouts? maybe he had a burning desire to destroy a set of tires?
...and anything putting out good power is going to have traction issues. It's a given fact. For track times.. wouldn't know what that one runs, but there's a trillogy built Marauder in MPLS running 12.5 @ ~110mph (wanna say that was on street rubber as well). 4500lbs. This year plans include widening a pair of stock wheels and running Nittos out back and running a smaller pulley for +3lbs of boost.

Impala SS styling > Marauder styling...much sleaker and less bulbos (sp)...and the car is nearly 10 years old....and still runs right with the new marauder.I was just saying they should make a video of how it performs as well.
VIVA LA SS!!

My moneys on the Marauder. I think it looks better than the Impala ss
Meh...I would rather have an Impalla SS. Instant classic, crazy amounts of potential, and better looking IMO.A little side note, there was a dealership trying to sell a 96 Impy SS with ~ 70K miles on it for almost $18,000. Talk about resale value retention....
EDIT: their 1/4 times are almost identical with the Impalla edging out the marauder by a couple tenths....on average. Not bad for a car thats ten years older.
The worlds fastest 94-96 Impalla SS (retaining the LT1 block) runs 9.98 @ 140 mph...

This beast makes over 600 crank hp, naturally aspirated alone....he has some nitrous on top of that....
