From the pictures I have seen, a lot of guys on this board have very sharp cars, and some people on this board have a lot of talent. For that you have my respect.
There is just a lot of poor kids with big dreams and slow cars on this board who act like they just got beat up by the playground bully in elementary. Show the rest of the guys some respect, and they might be able to help you out a little bit. Shoot, I might even let you come out to my shop and use some of my equipment.

I agree with this guy. Rob may be a huge post whore, but has some good welding skills. He has no problem going out of his way to weld somthing up for you. Rexwagon.......didnt he do some welding for you on your BMW?
I see alot of people that are attacking him on a personal level because where he used to work. So what if he used to work at wal-mart pushing carts....is it not a job? Its income and it may not be the best job but it paid the bills. I a few people that have less than desirable jobs that are on this site.
I cant defend him for calling out everyone to race his cobra or nissan. Its just stupid to call out everyone when you know there are ALOT faster cars out there. So lay off the callouts rob.
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car
Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall
Torque is how far you take the wall with you -

Thats the one thing that really annoys me about him. That and half of his posts make absolutely no sense what so ever. Also wonder why he's still calling people out to come race his cobra when he says he put it in storage for the winter.

He might just be itching for a race and never really got to have one this year. That happens to people at times.

I just decided one day to fight back and push around like them and now im good? but in all reality of things, yes, the whole ordeal with what happened to me put into perspective who I really am and they know my attitude a bit more (see "tumor...fuck" thread) I respect all the nice caring people, but there is a fine line between "feeling sorry for" and "pity"...im just trying to be me and be independent.

Exactly. Dramatic things tend to put things in perspective, and I wish you didn't have to go through it. It seems to me that things have changed for you alot and it shows in how you have been responding on this board. All I know of you is what I see on this board, and would like to met you some day. Maybe one of tintmaster's show and shines when you get your ride fixed it up. That is if I could get my lazy self over to one of them and bring one of my cars.
I think you do a good job of keeping the pity people away. I personally can't stand pity, but feeling sorry for someone when they are down on their luck, that's different. I like to think of it more as empathy. Life sucks at times and we have all had time were life sucks.

Thanks, I couldnt think of the word empathy at the moment but that is what I was trying to say yea. I should have my car back and ready for many different carshows sometime early next year before summer really starts. I do agree, life does indeed suck at many different times but there isnt much we can do about it except go with it.
