i dont even know the goign rate anymore i suppose. 75 bucks?

if you give me a little while to get the paint and body work done on my EK that has a y8 in it that the head will bolt right up to. its alot better than the y7 head. i could break the motor down and make sure its legit and you could buy that

I am just trying to help out an older local guy..... the car has severely overheated y7. I told him i would find him and engine and help him with it.

so i dont need the vtec y8 head

just really want a solid short block and a good head, y7 non vtec is fine

let me know what you think, you said the y7 shortblock you have is around 40k and solid??

                    thanks

I would trust this motor just fine. It was boosted at one point for about 2 days and the kid popped the head gasket. He thought he blew the motor so he brought his own long block the dealership and had us throw it in. When we took it apart everythign speced out just fine and looked great. The head my friend used at the tech school for a project he was doing. No warpage or anything. The pan is tapped tho so taht would need to be plugged
