I bought the MW2 bundle here a couple days ago and there are few things that are bothering me. The machine itself is pretty loud compared to a Wii which makes no noise at all. I was wondering if xbox's are like this? or do i need to return mine?... if you got the MW2 bundle you have a Jasper board, which is like 5x as quiet as previous 360's.

i have a xenon 360 [that died] and now a jasper 360. the reduction in sound emission on the jasper setup is amazing. much quiter machine and power supply.
But yes: the 360 is a loud machine compared to the Wii, no matter what version you get. The Wii is strictly speaking, not a current-generation device, capabilty wise. This allowed nintendo to make it small, quiet, and inexpensive.
