03 Evo at Corwin

All euro cars dont break. From the factory they handle infinite horsepower. In fact they come factory with infinite horsepower.
Buy two

But for my .02 i think i would trust an evo over a wrx. Just my opinion, not really in the mood to try and explain. But i like the styling of a newer wrx more. So its a toss up. Either way id probably never spend money on either becuase their all riced on so hard from previous owners

Well they have to be...they are Autobahn inspired and made for the track. There will never be a car that is not made in Europe that will be better.

Personally, I would never buy a used, high horsepower, AWD vehicle unless I had cash to burn. In fact, I would probably never buy an AWD vehicle if I had speed in mind, I'd go RWD. I'm pimpin' FWD just because the car was cheap and FWD is decent in the winter.
AWD just scares me because of costs involved when stuff breaks, and we all know it will break if you add power.
This EVO is a cool car, certainly has some get-up-and-go. Maybe 300-350(MAX)AWHP. The owner told me 450HP, but didn't state if that was at the wheels or flywheel. Obvious intake, exhaust, header, etc. work, but no gauges inside to monitor that horsepower, which also scares me. It's gonna need a clutch, and when I drove it, it would grind into fifth (and I'm talking gentle, normal shift).
I wouldn't buy it for 17k. But then again, I know what we own it for as well ;-).
And for the love of god, if you're at Corwins looking at this car, don't quote me on anything, lol...

Subarus are no more relliable than than DSMs. How many highly modded Subbys are there around? If there was any they would break too. How many subbys have you seen race at that track that make "power"? Anything breaks when you make power and beat the shit out of it. I blew up my car cause I race it and it's a "reliable honda". It just happens. And if you don't expect it to happen you're and idiot.True, but not many evo's if any will make 9 second passes on stock tranny's, evo's will make power easier than sti's though, its personal preference.
