    care to elaborate on this?

well after figuring out how much money it was going to be to work over my rear suspension with bushings, adjusters, rear steer eliminators, diff, moly axles.... it was going to be plenty of $$ and i don't want to have any chances of issues with an axle/joint breakage... tired of using only the inside 2" of my 10" tire too

So i picked up a new delux grannys 8.8 setup

See how i like it i guess, will be nice to get a 315 in the stock fender without notching the trailing arm too

i will weigh both the stock and granny setup with pics so we will see the actual weight difference too

will be quite the combo with a live axle and the Tein Flex coilovers, haha

this is a torque arm setup , so i wont bind like a 4 link or ladder bar setup and allow some body roll

    legacy image

this is the setup of the diff

    -mustang 8.8 rear
-billet "Torino" style 9" housing ends
    -5 lug 5 on 4-1/2" pattern w/ 2.60" center pilot
-forged 9" style 31 spline axles
-o-ring style 9" axle bearings and retainers
    -3.27 ratio, 31 lightweight spool

yep... mullet me, but now i wont break anything

Should have made all the bends out of pie cuts. Would have made 34.72hp more.

ha, ya i pondered that.... but i don't have the required skillz

Welded up my downpipe today, figured i would show you guys how i weld all my exhaust stuff.... This is with MIG (wirefeed) I trigger it and can keep a nice hot puddle without getting too hot on the thin aluminized tubing and yet have just the right amount of penetration on the inside.... gives it an almost TIG appearance

I didn't TIG my V-band flanges on the DP because they are mild steel and not SS like on the up-pipes

no brushing or grinding there, that is just how it looks when i get done, minus wiping it off with a rag.... start and stop right in the middle of the picture too

The V band's coolness points make up for the MIG. So with them balancing out its all only ok. lol

Fucking badass..... This is the first time i bought something off a forum and got a hell of a lot MORE than i thought i would...... I bought this rear end setup from a guy brand new because he decided to sell all of his parts before ever building the car....

I got a steal on it the way it was, and i didn't even think i was getting stuff that I did like.... driveshaft, HD adjustable lower links, or the HD adjustable watts link....

It ended up being half price of what i would of had to pay for it equipped as it is from the mfg.

anyway everything but the complete rotor to rotor rear end is here which is in route

sorry i am excited, but people usually try to rip me off over the net

How much work is required to install that rear end?

                                          PM me for:
                                          Sandblasting(I use glass beads)
                                          Diesel repairs or performance products.
