There is a Daytona that has run 11s @ interstate for a few years now. Parts definately are not an issue. Sometimes you just have to get creative.

I'm not going to be useing a stock 2.5l that comes in a dakota. I'm useing a 2.2l turbo 3 setup like the one used in a dodge spirit r/t or a dodge daytona iroc r/t.

whats wrong with the 2.5? i have heard that there stronger

They have a longer stroke then the 2.2l, so they have more torque, but less hp then the 2.2l's. If I get that motor I might consider using my block for more torgue and just replacing everthing else, head intake, to make it a 2.5l turbo 3 setup. But it won't have as much hp as the 2.2l would.

im pretty sure if you swapped everything over you could make a ton more hp and tq with the 2.5liter...and it would be at a lot lower rpm as well
