A friend of mine was in his house on 14 1/2 street and 3rd ave North Fargo and heard a noise and went to his front door. He didnt hear anything and walked to his back yard and saw his garage door open and saw someone in his car driving out of his garage. He took off in his slippers and chased the car down the alley. Its a 96 Mazda Protege dark blue in color with Lic plate HSF287. if anyone sees the car plz PM me or call the police. The perp jumped his fence and ran right for the garage and took the car.

Obviously wasn't a Hmong because they only steal Hondas. I wonder why they stole a Protege?

That's just asking for it to get stolen.

I'd be willing to bet it's someone your neighbor knows or is in the neighborhood. Or possibly someone who would know he left his keys in the garage ie passerby's who have seen it.

Did they catch the perp or did they ditch the vehicle and run? Sounds like they were being chased if they left the cash box in the car. Least the police found the car, good on them.
