I am green as shit when it comes to creating a website...I have only played around with 1 when I had cableone. Is there some good software with templets to get you started, or what does it cost to have someone do it for you?
Thanks

one meelion dollars....
what are you (is he) trying to get out of the website? -
I used to use Dreamweaver, that worked really well. But that was literally like 8-9 years ago...Since then I've always designed stuff with Flash. Flash is pretty easy to learn, and you don't have to get too complicated to make a website. Gotta have some art skills, though. Both are made by Macromedia, and I'm sure you could find a torrent somewhere for a "free" copy o_O

Dreamweaver is a decent tool for a WYSIWYG editor (probably one of the best). Frontpage (and similar tools) bloats the hell out of their markup. Dreamweaver does too but not quite as bad - the advantage to Dreamweaver as you can easily flip over to the code and tweak/cleanup.
Flash.... that just shouldn't be used anymore - especially as a full site.
and I come back to the question - what does he want out of the site?

I liked the ability to drag and drop with dreamweaver but still able to do hard coding if I wanted to as well. I've never used frontpage I don't think, so that may be the same, but I liked trying things out with Dreamweaver.
