I guess i just dont see whats so great about seeing your windows next to each other. I dont know the technical differences as i could really care less, but they sure do like to pimp that side by side thing

There is a lot of new improved things,
controlling multiple monitors is way easier, among other productivity shortcuts.
Also,
Startup is WAY faster...
google "windows 7 tricks"
Its basically making windows as fast to navigate as OSX, but not having to pay 2 grand for a decent laptop. -

Once Apple made the switch to intel hardware, the only difference became the aesthetics of the cases, and the software. Hell, theres probably a good chance theres a write up with your specific laptop on the internet on how to install OSX.
This is also the reason I think it is foolish to spend $2k on a laptop you can buy from Dell for $500 and install OSX on for free, or hell even after purchasing a license.
