I'm planning on having it tuned here in Ohio at SloMotion.Good engine management, and go somewhere else, I have seen maps from them, and was less than impressed.

What are you using for tuning?
I'm planning on going w/ Hondata S300, just need to buy it though.

Yeah I haven't heard to much about them, but I went there today and they were more than knowledgeable. I don't know much about reading graphs and such yet, so do you think that their tuning doesn't make as much power as other places?Solid Performance;303186 wrote:
I'd maybe consider a different brand of nitrous parts. Only used a few of Dynotuned's stuff but have had three of their window switches fail and havn't seen a successful run on one of there systems yet.
From my research they've been getting really good reviews. Also their prices are extremely reasonable. Do you a brand that you recommend? -

F*ck Hondata, Neptunes where its at.
J/K, but seriously, pretty good product, but the company kinda sucks.
I have seen the actual maps for a car they charged $400 to "dyno tune" and it was running very conservative ignition timing that hadn't been touched, same thing you would get from a basic street tune at no where near that cost, I just think if you are paying a shop for a dyno tune, it should be a bit more optimized.
Try and get in touch with Blundar and see if he is available.

Should I be looking at getting a window switch? Any reason I should or shouldn't?

Well I figured who this Blundar guy is. Pretty much everyone on H-T, even people from Florida, just rave about this guys tuning and his business Total Performance Racing. Looks like he's the guy I'll be going to for a tune!
Still wondering about the window switch.. I'm new to nitrous and don't know anyone personally that has had it. Can anyone tell me why I'd need a window switch?

Buy a Mallory Hyfire or something similar. Window switch, ignition retard, and two step all in one and they only cost a little over $200 new. It's the only way to go for nitrous.

Get Neptune RTP, it will control everything. You can set it up to control nitrous based on input switches, TPS, Speed, gear, RPM, Load, ECT, IAT, so whenever your set parameters are met, it will turn on the nitrous, and can either run set adjustments that are selectable based on every 1000 rpms (add X amount fuel, pull X amount of timing from normal), or it can switch to completely different fuel and ignition maps and if it goes out of the parameters, it switches back to the standard N/A maps. This is only part of the features, not to mention rev limit by gear, Fuel and/or ignition rev limits, built in immobilizer, etc.
Basically its the shit and will do everything you want, and much more. Talk to Blundar, he knows whats up.
