Maybe some idea's as well would be great.honestly, here's an idea: 70 bucks for a cheap header that probably won't line up right anyway on your 300-dollar car (and i love 300-dollar cars, so no offense here) is MUCH better spent somewhere else. like spark plugs, an air filter, cap and rotor, oil filter.. you'll probably see more improvement there anyway.
Unless you're replacing a broken manifold with it - totally different story there. figure out if a header or a used manifold is cheaper.

i don't know i don't really care if it don't line up. i can always send it back. and its the same motor neon. so there should be no problem.

Honestly, use the car as cheap transport for now and save up some money. You were just bitching about never having money, and you have kids, expenses come up so you should have some money in reserve for repairs/bills/etc. Modding a POS neon when you are broke and have kids is a horrible idea, be responsible.
