I have a Y8 tranny taking up space in my garage and need to get rid of it. I'm not entirely sure what they're worth, but i've seen them go for $180-200. I'm asking $180 obo

i bought a perfect y8 tranny from (1991tsi) or something, josh from fergus for 80 bucks 2 years ago

I was looking on TurboD16.com and saw that was the range they had been selling for...i'm considering offers though because i really dont know what this is worth

how many miles are approx on it, is it a manual or auto, and do all the gears work?

It's a manual, it's Bryce's old transmission...

The going rate on EX/Si's are around $150-200
DX/CX/VX transmissions are all around $50 give or take

I don't think I have ever sold a none-EX/SI trans, given away a bunch of them. And EX/SIs were all $100 if they were good (free if they weren't, or I wasn't sure), but they may have gone up now as they are rare.
