Tinted tails & cops

so how anal are the cops around here on tinted tails??? i have seen a few that are 1 can of VHT per light dark and i even see a few headlights tinted as well. Do cops car to much or are they strick and nobody fixes after they get ticketed or what. Im only planing a very light coating nothing overly dark but i dont want any trouble.

Mine are pretty dark (4 deep coats of VHT), and i dont get any trouble. As long as you dont drive like an asshat they wont bother you

sweet thanks for the help....there is no aftermerket support in the lighting department so the only options are full custom or tint and since i dont have the tools for a full custom job yet im going tint. if i can ever get pics once im done ill post them up here

You'll be fine I have my tails laminexed and haven't been bothered once in over two years.

im just going to lightly smoke them...you will still see red without the lights on but i just want them to blend in a little better instead of stick out like a soar thumb...
