Ha, I did browse the first 5 pages of this section, then I got lazy. Plus I'm not sure if a new shop popped up, as I'm not from Fargo

Take it to them if you want to have to get your wheels redone shortly after. Their powdercoater is a dumbass.

Are they still open? there was an auction over there a few weeks ago. Anyways the frames we got back looked good enough for race cars but I'm guessing they'd spend more time doing wheels.

No they even suck on race cars. I used to work there, the powder coater had at least one rework a day, and I could always find light spots on everything. I was just looking at my friends race car who he had them do it, and it was horrible. They redid a set of explorer wheels 4 times once.

^^ I second Elite. We've used him a couple times, always comes back mint. You will be without your wheels (or whatever part) for a couple days (maybe weeks), just so you know.

Are you sure we are talking about the same place/person. This is one guy (Dan)... He has done MANY (50+ parts) for the shop, and besides being a shade off in color once or twice, his quality has been better than 90% of the big name brand companies powdercoating. If this is the same guy, was he unwilling to help resolve the situation?

My mistake. It was precision powder or something like that (Cossette Trucking's old building). Elite is the guy out in West Fargo. I have heard good things about him. My apologies to Elite Powdercoaters. Above post corrected.

It wasnt a huge fire from what i heard. Unless a second fire broke out? I know something happened earlier today. But was told it wasnt anything major. Oh and I kinda take back what I said, Neil is a good guy, his powdercoater sucks. But If you go to them just look it over real good and if you find any flaws Neil will make sure it gets fixed.

Depending on what you want done I can help ya out. I've got a regular kitchen size oven, but I've done a handful of smaller parts with no problems. I've got about 5 diff blacks, a bright red, candy blue, chrome, gold, high temp black, high temp silver and a high gloss clear. The way I do my pricing is usually call up another powdercoating place and charge about half of what they quote. Turn around time is about a week.

I powdercoat. If it can fit in my oven, I can do it cheap.
